We’d like to share the latest updates and explain the upcoming steps for the server.

1. Improving Client Protection

We are working on developing a new anticheat system to ensure a fair and balanced gaming experience for everyone.

• It's important to note that the anticheat system has been disabled since 2023, as it was believed to be one of the causes of disconnections for users with lower-end PCs.
• With the necessary optimizations now in place, we’re ready to reintroduce it and ensure it works smoothly for everyone.
• :tools: The new anticheat will be launched this week.

2. First Season Launch

Our focus on implementing the anticheat system has caused a slight delay in the launch of Season 1, but we want to assure you that:

• :star2: The first season will still launch this December, as part of our celebration for the fifth anniversary of the server.
• This delay will allow us to offer an optimized experience from day one, with many improvements and updates to be made during the season.

3. New Game Version

With the start of Season 2, we will launch the new game version: Ep8, exactly like the official Asian server and much more.

• What does Ep8 include?
  • New race: Pandas.
  • Base episode content: New wings, transformation skills, and more.
  • The unique systems from Ep 7.3 will be preserved, such as flying mounts and dyes.
  • Plus, we’ll introduce exciting new features:
  • Marriage system.
  • Enchanted wings.
  • New Goddess system.
  • Temporary item mall based on points from specific events.
  • Customizable guild houses.
  • And many more exciting things that will be revealed as we progress with development.
• Multilingual Support: The game client will be fully translated into German, French, Italian, English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and you will be able to select the language at startup without needing to download a secondary client. All languages will be included in the same client.
• Beta Server: Before the official launch, we will enable a secondary beta server for everyone to test:
  • The gameplay and skills of the Asian Ep8 version.
  • A version adjusted with gameplay/skills from the Fawkes (Western) server.
  • An alternative version with gameplay/skills from Ep 6.4, while maintaining the innovations from Ep8.
• This testing period will help:
  • Identify and fix any bugs or errors.
  • Define with you which gameplay style you prefer: the Asian-style Ep8, Fawkes-style, or a more classic Ep6.4 version, while keeping the new features of Ep8.

4. What’s Coming in December

While we continue working on these improvements, December will bring:

• Season 1: Featuring ranks, Battle Pass, and special event-based gameplay, with details coming soon.
• We will continue using the current client (Ep 7.3) during this transition, ensuring a smooth adaptation for everyone.
• The server will always be 100% free-to-play, meaning no advantages in stats, equipment, or ranks that would give any player an upper hand. We aim to foster a competitive environment where everyone is on equal footing.
