The new ranking system is finally here, offering a more balanced experience for new players. The promotions, including the December scale and alternative packages for direct sale with discounts (40 and 30 USD for fully geared characters + rank and items), are still in effect.
As you may know, the previous ranking system went up to 10,000,000 kills. Starting from the pink rank (1 million kills), ranking occurred every 300,000 kills, with each rank providing 10 stats. This created a significant imbalance, especially for new players who often felt at a disadvantage compared to more seasoned players. In November 2023, I made an announcement on Discord, part of which stated:
Ranking System Restructuring: We are aware that the server's long online presence and the stats provided by ranks have led to a significant imbalance between old and new players (or purchased ranks). Therefore, we will completely change the ranking system. The ranks that will now provide the most stats and will be truly important are the blue ranks. Starting from yellow ranks, ranking will occur every 50k kills, with each rank providing only 5 stats. From the three yellow stars onwards, ranks will increase every 100k kills, giving only 3 stats per rank from that point onward. This change brings two things: while existing high ranks will not lose their stats, new players will not be at such a disadvantage, making it more of a visual/aesthetic aspect (also, there will be new rank colors, totaling 17).So, on January 22, the new ranking system was launched, with an initial design that was later changed to officially look like the following:
The ranks now provide stats inversely and exactly as announced previously. Below is a detailed table showing the kills, the stats each rank provides, and the total stats summed up. Currently, the person with the highest rank on the server has 5,686,657 kills, which would give them 666 stats. In comparison, a newly started player with a 3-star blue rank, according to the PvP pace and frequency, can achieve this rank in less than a month of playing, with only 450 stats. The difference of 216 stats is not significant and does not provide an extreme advantage as it did before.
